Harpers are a distinguished class of individuals that excel in the arts, literature, politics, history and social etiquette. They are master linguists, musicians and poets. Many find work as historians or scribes for other adventurers. Governments often have a need for a number of harpers to keep accurate records and maintain order in the chaos of government offices. The most famed of these individuals can often use their outstanding talents to control or influence the emotional reactions of other individuals or groups. While not being particularly brilliant in the open battlefield and combat, a harper's knowledge and social accomplishments make him/her key in solving riddles and uncovering treasures and secrets.
